Jack McTague, a history professor at Saint Leo University, and a colleague, Reggie Hill, will tell the storied history of the Panama Canal through the years. Perhaps we will learn about the magical properties of the Chagres River and how once a Zonian has drunk its water they always want to go back to The Zone.
The meeting will also feature election of officers. As usual, a covered-dish dinner will precede the program, so bring something special to share. Also, please bring your own table-service and drink.
